When you come into the office, we ask you if you would like to donate to “It’s the Journey” by donating $20. (We give you the option to say yes or NO….). In return, we will use a special light to check your mouth by completing an oral cancer screening. Your hygienist will always check for obvious signs of oral cancer, but this special light can see more than we can without the light. This procedure is normally $65, but Dr. Dix will write off the remaining $45 when you donate $20. He is actively involved in the 2-day walk in Georgia in the fall by helping with traffic control and dressing in his pink camouflage along with his wife Maria.

Dr. Dix has been a huge supporter of Breast Cancer. All proceeds go directly to “It’s the Journey”, a Georgia Foundation.
