Meet Our Team

Maria was born in Georgia and grew up in East Point. She is a proud mom of three grown children and is especially proud of her four grandchildren. She has a background working as a registered nurse. She enjoys gardening, traveling and going on adventures with her sweet husband.

Vanessa was born in Pasadena, California, and has lived most of her life in Georgia. She has worked with Dr. Dix since August 2007. Her current role is office manager, though she has been a dental assistant for over 14 years. Our patients and staff enjoy her bubbly, positive personality and radiant smile. Vanessa loves to travel, dine out and spend time outdoors. She values quality time with her husband and their two children.

Gloria has been with Dr. Dix since 2001. She is our front desk and Insurance coordinator, and enjoys working closely with patients to ensure they receive the best treatment and a consistently positive experience at each visit. She is known for her warm smile and genuine care for our patients, and is always willing to go above and beyond to make sure they feel comfortable and respected. Gloria is a mother of three, and has a miniature poodle that loves cuddles. She enjoys nature and taking trips to the mountains and the beach.

Angela was born in Santiago, Chile, and lived in New York before moving to Georgia. She is our sterilization and purchasing coordinator and has been with Dr. Dix since September 2006. She is married and has one daughter and a granddaughter. She loves sewing, traveling and gardening.

Gladys is an excellent addition to our team who is responsible for sterilization and translating for our Spanish speaking patients. She is a mother of two. In her spare time, Gladys enjoys going to concerts and music festivals. She loves to try new things!

Jennifer was born and raised in Austell, Georgia. She started her dental career in 2001 as a dental hygiene assistant before graduating in 2004 from West Central Technical College with a degree in dental hygiene. She has worked part time for Dr. Dix since 2021 and spends her other days substitute teaching at her children’s schools. Since joining our team, she has loved meeting new patients and helping them feel better about their smiles! She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, volunteering at church and teaching crochet classes.

Tiffany is a native of Georgia and grew up in Smyrna. She has worked for Dr. Dix since November 2006. She graduated in 1999 with her associate of applied technology degree in dental hygiene from West Central Technical College. She earned her certification in local anesthesia from the University of Florida. Tiffany stays current with continuing dental education classes — a commitment she takes seriously to helping patients maintain their dental health. Patients appreciate her gentle and compassionate bedside manner. Her favorite part of her job is providing patients with the experience of good dental care and the feeling of a great smile. She loves getting to know her patients and building long-term relationships. She has raised two beautiful children. Her hobbies include reading, hiking and DIY projects.

Heidy was born in El Salvador and raised in California. She is Dr. Dix’s assistant and has worked with him since October 2000. Behind her beautiful smile is a woman who is passionate about getting to know all of our patients and making sure they receive quality service and attention. She has three children and seven grandchildren. She enjoys spending time at church and with her husband. She loves to go for walks and enjoys cooking.

Liliana was born in Atlanta, Georgia. She has been assisting since 2019. She started as a dental assistant and quickly became passionate about dentistry. Her passion inspired her to further her education and she is currently working on becoming a dental hygienist. Her beautiful smile and understanding nature makes it easy for patients to feel comfortable. She is extremely devoted to educating patients on their individual needs. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and spending time with her family.
